PostSubject: Introduction Guidelines READ FIRST!   Fri Aug 22, 2008 2:00 am

First I'd like to welcome you to the Megaman Universe forums if you're new here. We hope you'll enjoy yourself and have fun.

Some of you may be older... perhaps you've been to other forums before, so you know the basics of posting in a Forum, the basic "do's and don'ts" of speaking with other people online. Wonderful! We look forward to your posts here!

But some of you may be younger, and not know as much about such things... this might be the first forum you've ever joined, or your first time chatting with others over the computer. That's great! We're glad to have you here too!

But I thought I'd take a moment to explain a few things to you all, about some of the rules we like to follow here in our Forum, in case you didn't know. We like to keep it a fun place for everyone, and if we all follow the rules this will be a great meeting place for you to chat, ask questions, learn, and have a good time.

One thing that really gets on people's nerves in a Forum is when people "S.P.A.M." If you don't know what that means, it stands for 'Short Pointless Annoying Messages', and it's usually when someone just replies a very short post, like "Wow!" or "Cool" or "No way" or something really short like that. It also refers to posts that don't really make any sense to anyone, or messages that don't really have anything to do with what the topic is. We really don't like those kinds of "little tiny messages" here. They take up space and sometimes really annoy people. So please don't do that, ok? Thanks!

Also here in the Megaman Universe Forums, there are members from different places all over the world. They may have different points of view, some may not even speak the best of English, as it may not be their first language. Remember that everyone is welcome, and please don't criticize or put anyone down here. We'd appreciate that! If people have issues with each other, they can message each other, not post arguements or complaints about people on the boards for all to see. That's just not nice, it's unnecessary, and random arguing posts will be deleted and you'd be warned. So none of that, ok? Thanks!

And also please keep in mind that if you post an image in your signature line, they can't be too big, or else it makes it harder for some members to view the pages if all these huge images have to load. Keep them smaller, ok? Thanks again!

So basically, here's the main rules to remember:

Please don't post "SPAM" messages.
Treat everyone nicely, be friendly, not mean.
Keep any images you add smaller, not large.
And if you have questions or problems, Private Message (PM) one of the Moderators for help.

This way the Megaman Universe Forums will be great fun for EVERYONE!
