| Before posting your question on the boards...
First...please check our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section to see if your question is already there. Second... check the topics recently listed to see if your question is already posted there.
If you don't find the question or answer you're looking for, then feel free to post your question.
Also, some of you may actually know the answers to some of these questions and post them in a helpful manner. That's fine. But please don't just post things like "ya, do what he said" or "that's right" or "gee I don't know" other similar comments. It clutters the responses unnecessarily.
Keep in Mind-
This Forum is ONLY for Questions about the Megaman Universe Site/Forums- This isn't for General Questions and such. This is only for site/forum related questions, and any other questions will be moved or deleted.
Make Question posts CLEAR- I can't stress this enough. Without a clear topic, it's not interesting if you were to put say "Why is?". Instead try: "Why is there so many cool things to do on the forums?". This makes the idea of the board more focused and you will get your answer quick enough.
Look for old topics of the same Question- This is also another problem, too many people create topics where the answer has already been answered a day ago or so. So if you have a question please just look and see if someone has already asked this question. It will be less work for you and I.
Don't be impatient- You will get a answer to your question as soon as possible. Just because I'm the Mod of this board, doesn't mean that I will be the only one to answer all of your questions. I may not know all of them and in which case other mods and members will try to answer them for you. If it's about a technical problem such as Something like more items being put in, I will try my best to help.
We're in the process of updating our FAQ to a more current list. But for now, at least there are quite a few answers to some of these being posted here already.
Here are some that are not in the above FAQ link:
How do I get different ranks? you'll get ranks from posting new topics or replying to others topics. But please keep in mind that we prefer quality posts to lots and lots of pointless, annoying 'spam' posts. Make sure you read the various Board descriptions so that you know you're making your posts and Topics in the right places. And if you look around, you'll find lots of boards with interesting topics you can contribute to. You can welcome other new members in the Introduce Yourself board, you can reply to some of the Polls we have here, or some of the quirky topics in Games & Other Randomness.
What Ranks/Titles are given? These titles are automatically given at these post counts: 0 posts: Inactive 1-4 posts: Newcomer 5-9 posts: Beginner 10-19 posts: Rookie 20-29 posts: Lackie 30-39 posts: Apprentice 40-49 posts: Trainee 50-74 posts: Novice 75-99 posts: Regular 100-124 posts: Adept 125-149 posts: Advanced 150-174 posts: Expert 175-199 posts: Sage 200-249 posts: Guru 250-299 posts: Baron 300-349 posts: Ruler 350-399 posts: Veteran 400-449 posts: Master 450-499 posts: Executive 500-549 posts:Top-Notch 550-599 posts: Superior 600-649 posts: Head Honcho 650-699 posts: Director 700-799 posts: Grand Master 800-899 posts: Supreme 900-999 posts: Elite 1000-1249 posts: Duke 1250-1499 posts: Legendary 1500-1749 posts: Overlord 1750-1999 posts: Conqueror 2000-2499 posts: Mastermind 2500-2999 posts: Emperor 3000-4999 posts: Deity 5000-8000 posts: Lord 8000+ posts: Greater Being
